Deviantの新曲『Of Sun and Rain』のPVです。

Arepazからの新作、新人アーティスト、JayTramの"Only A Smile"が、2008年1月1日リリースです。Epsteinも3曲プロデュースで参加しているように、Epsteinの作品が好きな方は、きっと気に入ってもらえるアルバムだと思います。繰り返し何度でも聴ける素敵なインストゥルメンタルのアルバムです。価格はスペシャルプライス,1980yen(tax in)！

京都メトロでの公演の模様、その3。伝統と歴史のあるクラブで公演できたことはたいへん嬉しかったです。

京都メトロにて共演した、 Fugenn & the white elephantと、NUE & bunaのライブペインティングセッションの模様です。両者とも、見事なパフォーマンスを京都に残しました。Fugenn & the white elephantはRL66よりリリース予定のアルバムを制作中です。

9月16日、つづき。日本の最重要クラブのひとつ、京都MetroでのEpstein & La Mano Friaのリハーサルの様子です。丹念に音をつくっていきます。

バックに流れているのは、Epsteinの2004年にリリースした1stアルバム『Puñal』収録のMiraです。今聴くとさらによく聴こえます。

最近、MIHARAさんとSeven Starのラップはやっぱりうまい、という話をしたところでした。Sevenが自宅に宿泊した際、ニュースで流れた厳島神社の映像をテレビで観て、「すごい！次はここに連れて行ってくれ！」と言った事がありました。そういうMCです。

Just a regular day in Little Havana, Miami with Arrowax, Seven Star and Omniscient caught on camera by La Mano Fria. Omniscient plays som tracks in the car, while Seven Star attempts to wash dishes. 2008年1月に、マイアミよりArepazからのアナログ7インチのニューリリースがあります。JayTramの"Smile"も収録予定です。

現在発売中のbmrに、Soarse Spoken『THIRD WORLD PROPHECIES』のアルバムレビューが掲載されました。いつもお世話になっているFader Japanの河野さんが書いてくださっていました。bmrは、ボクがブラックミュージックを聴き初めの頃に、たくさんの情報を教えてくれた思い入れの強い雑誌です。10年以上経って、今は自分が取り扱う音源を掲載してもらっていることは、たいへん名誉な事だと思っています。

Botanica del Jibaroで初期から活躍しているMC、Serumのインタビュー映像。すでにアルバムのレコーディングは完成しているらしいです。Botanica All Stars Greatest Hitsでも聴く事ができます。

ちょっと前のアトランタのイベントでのLa Mano Friaデザインのフライヤーです。Chris Devoeは、JayTramと同じく、Epstein & El ConjuntoのEl Conjuntoのひとりです。

SF映画のクラシック、Blade Runnerのワンシーン。全編に渡って陰鬱で行き場のない暗い状況を見事に描写した、カルトヒットし続けている大人向けの作品。同じハリソン・フォードでもスターウォーズと全く別もの。勉強できるところ多々あります。

映画『Taxi Driver』観ました。最近新しいパッケージで再発されています。ふつうの人間が誰でも持っている狂気を見事に描いた作品です。We have to be careful not to go mad...

京都のcafe&gallery etwさんでのエキシビジョンの模様その2です。とても良い雰囲気で、お店に作品がマッチしていて本当によかったです。たいへんお世話になりました。

9月16日。京都メトロの同じビルの2Fにあるcafe&gallery etwさんで、同時に開催されたLa Mano Friaのエキシビジョン、Jibaro Times : La Mano Fria Report@Kyotoの模様です。ごはんもたいへんおいしかったです。 

Epsteinの新しい12インチシングル、『Otros』が発売されました。AIOと同様、La Mano Friaによる手刷りのシルクスクリーンプリントの限定盤です。OtrosのCD Albumは、2008年の春〜初夏のリリースを予定しています。

2007年12月1日。2007年も今月を残すのみになりました。 今月の作業は、2008年1月1日リリースのJayTram『Only A Season』のプロモーション作業と2月リリースの作品の制作、ツアーブッキング作業です。Jayのアルバムは、媒体各誌の皆様から早速良い反応をいただけました。クレイジーでサイケデリックな最高の良盤です。Short PVはこちら。
